Across the Mornington Peninsula, volunteers with Friends of the Hooded Plover, in conjunction with Birdlife Australia and Parks Victoria, perform vital work year round to help protect our beach nesting birds.

There are many ways you can help:

  • Join Friends of the Hooded Plover MLS,Hooded Plover,Gunnamatta,230117,-34 (19)_preview.jpegornington Peninsula – You can support our work by becoming a member for only $10/year for an individual, $20/year for a family, or by sending a donation. Members can also help with a range of important activities including nest monitoring, locating new nests, wardening busy sites, activities to raise community awareness, constructing chick shelters and helping put up fences and signs.
